AWWOB (A Weekend With Our Brothers) was the first and remains one of the most popular Brothers Together events. The AWWOB gatherings provide a rich and intimate contact with other men who love men. These weekends provide a balance of free time and structured programs, which allows each man to create the type of experience he wants for himself. The experience can range from an intenseive growth weekend for some or a relaxing way to make new friends for others, whats true for all is we create an open and supportive space for men to be themselves. It's a great time! Attendance is ususally about one hundred men from a wide range of backgrounds. The event is held in different regions of the country throughout the year.

What happens at AWWOB
Together we create a safe and supportive place for men who love men, to share our lives. This includes: workshops on a wide range of topics led by both professional and volunteer facititators. Past workshops have included massage, yoga, breathwork, body painting, dance, coming out discussion groups, meditation and many others. There is also free time for outdoor activities, a talent show, ritual, wood fired sauna, play, hikes, walks, time to make new friends and reconnect with old ones. The program begins Friday with dinner at 6:30 followed by the opening circle at 8:00. We conclude on Sunday after lunch about 1:00pm.

Participants are invited to get involved.
The value of the AWWOB experience is greatly enriched when participants choose to become involved in co-creating the weekend. Participants are asked to consider: leading a workshop, performing in the talent show (PHOTO ALBUM OF TALANT SHOW), sharing your ideas and generally pitching in over the course of the weekend. What you put out comes back multi fold.

Participants are asked not to bring: Alcohol, drugs, or Attitude.
